- Sustainable economic development and business: Explore how China has become an economic superpower and what the implications are for the coming generations within the country and abroad
- Pop culture & Fashion: Learn about China's popular music, television shows, games, and movies. Students can also try on Beijing's latest fashion trends and styles.
- Environmental Protection: Take part in environmental protection projects in Beijing and other cities.
- Written, radio, TV and photo journalism: Students will have the choice of these four mediums for journalistic inquiry of today's hot topics, ancient traditions, or whatever most interests them.
- History and culture: Delve into China's rich background through a historical and cultural analysis matches to the student's interest
- Performing and fine arts: Enjoy some of Chin's unique performing arts, from Peking Opera to Chinese Kung Fu
- Women's issues and leadership: Examine the unique ways that women are taking leadership in China-in business and politics as well as in building a civil society
