Chinese New Year’s Presentation
Hello everyone, today I’m going to introduce Chinese Spring Festival, that is, Chinese New Year. Since too many things I can talk about this topic, I chose 5 facts of it to share with you.
First of all, there are 12 animals represent different years in China. For example, I was born in 2010, so my animal is Tiger. 2017 is the Year of Rooster.
Also, during this holiday, we wear red color and pray to the ancestors. We think it brings us good luck.
Fourth fact, we eat dumplings, its shape looks similar to the old Chinese money.
Finally, I love to see the dragon dance in Chinatown. All Chinese in Chicago celebrate the Chinese New Year together.
