Inevitable conflicts over the limited resources based on coalition stakeholder’s agenda and interests. Used in a political fashion…

It suggests that organizations are places where individuals and groups seek to obtain power and resources to promote their own interest reminds us of the need of organizations to maintain legitimacy by reflecting deeply embedded values with their boundaries and within the environments…

This study examine the decision making

A case of bringing Chinese language to a school district…it intends to understand its organizational factors, barriers or facilitator embracing these efforts.

Theoretically language ecology theory helps us understand specifically according to Cooper.

To advance the field we bring it to American K-12, to understand of Chinese as a species and its three stages of planning to three perspectives of organization theory.

做质性研究:一个有意思的case做访谈,之前的protocol 之后的reflection, narrative

之前的课知道这个时候才make sense 再重新返回去看,所以之前一定要neatly的整理。

大概有两个派别:一类偏实践,走进领域里研习很久慢慢地找到点,建立理论,另一类头脑里带着先入的理论构架,然后进入field收集数据(各种手段,哪怕是一个小剪报,小纸片)一般为采访,当地的报纸,blog,大型事件的录像。

要注意处理信息的手段。彩色的文件夹,电脑里的folder的建立

这时候开始可以有产出,主要是先写下来(要憋着,否则就没那股想往外倒的劲儿,或是说的时候录音)

introduction ch1, ch2, ch3 一般就可以写conceptual paper,然后可以开会、投稿,这是要不断地有反馈,expose 各种渠道可以知道相关信息,不断和朋友,教授讨论疑惑点keep rolling
